Rachel Barezinsky's parents had arranged to buy a wheelchair for her return home after 13 weeks in the hospital, but it wasn't ready on the day she was released.

So they borrowed one from Children's Hospital, not knowing what they would do after they had to return it.

Rachel Barezinsky Case: Day 3 - P.1

Posted by Atticus on Monday, June 22, 2009, In : People

Rachel Barezinsky wore a satiny gown, strutted across the stage to Pomp and Circumstance and tossed her cap.

It was as if she were just like the other students graduating from Thomas Worthington High School.

But they didn't have to worry about what to do with a cane when the time came to shake their teachers' hands and accept their diploma.

They didn't have a jagged scar and Britney Spears buzz cut under their cap -- consequences of a bullet that ripped through their brain.

And none of th...

Allen S. Davis is in her prayers, but Rachel Barezinsky doesn't forgive him for shooting her.

Allen

"I pray for Allen Davis, that he will get better and realize what he did is wrong," Rachel said. "I would forgive him if he said, 'Sorry,' but he hasn't done that."

Nearly 11 months after the "ghost hunting" shooting last August and more than a week after a Franklin County judge sentenced Davis to 19 years in prison, the debate continues about who's at fault for what happened that night.

Rachel Barezinsky Case - Day 1 - P.1

Posted by Atticus on Monday, June 22, 2009, In : People

I posted this on the RiPA forum sometime back but Ithink it deserves its own blog.
Rachel Barezinsky had an interest in ghosts. So one night, her and some friends decided to go in search at a property that had its fair share of tales. Little did she know, this impulsive act would change her life forever.

RachelRachel Barezinsky loved everything scary -- scary stories, scary movies and, best of all, scary houses.
She had even made her friends brave her favourite -- the one on Walhalla Drive in Clintonv...
