St Werburgh's Church is always worth a visit, even if it is just for the food!

In 1989–1990 the lease on the main building was sold and the building converted into a shopping mall called the Cloisters. This enterprise failed due to high rent and council tax. The building has stood empty and subjected to vandalism for a number of years but has now opened as a Chinese Restaurant called Wok Mania.

In the past, people accused of crimes were sent to a witness box in court, where they were given three chances to plead guilt or innocence. After the third time of asking, the accused was given a bit of time to reconsider their decision, which at the time a 'judgment of penance' was passed.  If I could investigate any where in the world there's only one place that I would jump at the chance to investigate. The place, Waverley Hills sanatorium in Kentucky. Why here ? Well I'm fascinated by the place, its colourful history, its array of paranormal activity and the sheer elegance of one of Americas most haunted places.
